The SOPC has a wide array of volunteer opportunities. Some opportunities require volunteering during our regular operating hours, while others involve volunteering after hours in various capacities.
The majority of our volunteer opportunities can only be performed by individuals 18 years of age or older.
Teenagers are not permitted to have client contact. However, teenagers are welcome to help with facility maintenance, material aid items, and fundraising events. We love when you bring your energy and enthusiasm to the Center!
If you feel called to serve the women of our community and save the lives of the unborn, the Southern Ohio Pregnancy Center is the place for you.

During Office Hours:
- Client Advocate-direct interaction with clients
- Receptionist
- Baby Material Aid Helpers
- Special projects such as; mailings or preparing for events
After Office Hours/Flexible Schedule:
- Board membership
- Fundraising events
- Facility maintenance
- Church Liaison
Center Needs
We welcome donations of materials that support our clients and center operations. Here is a list of what we currently need:
- Diapers sizes: 3 – 6
- Baby wipes
- Baby wash, shampoo, and lotion
- Formula
- Onesies (NB-2T)
- Infant clothing (NB-2T)
- Swaddling blankets
- Baby exersaucer
- Baby swings
- Bouncy seats
- Pack ‘n’ Play
- High-back booster car safety seats (manufactured within six years of the current date and never been involved in an accident)
- Infant car safety seats (manufactured within six years of the current date and never been involved in an accident)
- Baby slings, wraps, or carriers
- Strollers
- New or gently used children’s books (appropriate through age 5)
- We do not accept used cribs or mattresses. We do not accept clothing over size 24 months/2T.
