Material Donation Partner
The SOPC provides clients with items for themselves and their babies through the HUGS Program. Churches often host baby showers with the SOPC as the recipient of the gifts. Individuals donate their gently used baby and maternity items for a tax deduction. Items the SOPC can use include: diapers all sizes, baby wipes, baby clothes including preemie sizes, onesies, baby socks, infant towels and washcloths, baby bottles, pacifiers, baby wash, baby oil, baby shampoo, baby lotion, cribs and mattresses, bassinets, strollers, playpens, baby swings and maternity clothes.
Memorials and Honorariums
This is a unique way to give a monetary gift to the SOPC. You can honor anyone for any occasion or send a gift in memory of someone. Just mail your gift to the SOPC, include the name of the person being honored or remembered, and who you wish to make aware of this special gift.
Individuals wishing to volunteer as a receptionist or peer counselor must complete extensive training. You can view online job descriptions for each of these categories, volunteer applications based on your area of interest, and information about receptionist and peer counselor training. In addition, please view a copy of our Statement of Faith, Statement of Principle, and Mission Statement before filling out any application. It may be helpful to call the SOPC to set up an appointment to visit the facility before you decide in which area you would like to apply. If you submit an application for volunteering during office hours, you will need to set up an interview with the Executive Director. If you submit an application for board membership, the Board of Directors will contact you about setting up an interview.

The Kroger Rewards Program was developed to meet customers’ desire to support local non-profit organizations in a way that won’t stretch their budget . . . or their time. Purchase a reloadable Kroger Gift Card ($5.00) from the SOPC, load it at Kroger, and then use the card when you check out. Click here for how it works.

Retire The Mortgage Quilt Fundraiser
The SOPC has 600 tickets available @ $25.00 donation for each ticket. When all tickets have been distributed we will draw a winner for the beautiful hand made quilt 'Prairie Queen' that was donated to us by the Country Quilters. The proceeds from the ticket donation will retire the mortgage of the SOPC and allow us to direct more of our income to outreach.
