Statement of Faith
  1. The Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
  2. There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
  3. The deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death through shed blood, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father and His personal return in power and glory.
  4. For the salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential and that this salvation is received through faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and not as a result of good works.
  5. The present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling in the Christian enables him to live a godly life and to perform good works.
  6. The resurrection of both the saved and the lost----they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
  7. In the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Statement of Principle

The SOPC is committed to:

  • Providing clients with accurate and complete information about both prenatal development and abortion.
  • Confidentiality and integrity in dealing with clients, earning their trust and providing promised information and services. The SOPC denounces any form of deception in its corporate advertising or individual conversations with its clients.
  • To assist women as they make life-affirming decisions and provide emotional support and practical assistance, through the provision of God’s people and the community at large.
  • No discrimination because of race, color, creed, national origin, marital status or age.
  • Not to recommend a provider or refer for abortions or abortifacients.
  • To offer assistance in all areas with no monetary gain.
  • Promote abstinence until marriage. The SOPC does not recommend, provide or refer single women for contraceptives. (Married women seeking contraceptive information are urged to seek counsel, along with their husbands, from their minister and physician.)
  • The SOPC recognizes the validity of adoption as one alternative to abortion, but is not biased toward adoption when compared to the other life-saving alternatives. The SOPC is independent of adoption agencies, relating to them in the same manner as to other helpful referral sources. The SOPC does not receive payment of any kind from these agencies, does not enter into contractual relationships wit them. The SOPC does not initiate nor facilitate independent adoption, though it may refer for independent adoptions.
  • Creating awareness in the community regarding the affects of abortion on all family members.

About Us
The SOPC seeks to serve Jesus Christ by upholding the sanctity of human life, assisting individuals facing the challenges of unplanned pregnancy, ministering to the emotional and spiritual needs resulting from an abortion, and promoting sexual purity.

The SOPC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We are dedicated to ministering to young men and young women in our area who may be facing an unplanned pregnancy or who may have faced one in the past. It is our desire to share the love of Christ with each of our clients through our actions and our words. As we share the love of God, we are also able to minister to some of our client’s most pressing needs.

Commensurate with this purpose, those who labor as SOPC board members, directors, and volunteers are expected to know Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.
